HTC’s EVO Shift 4G, a keyboard sliding 4G android phone is on the verge of launching somewhere by the end of this weekend. The phone comes with 3.7-inches screen sizes and even though it is not a final decision, but this very phone has been rumored to be running on android 2.2. It has an outer case to prevent scratches and coffee splashes. The phone is using the same 800MHz processor as used on T-Mobile’s G2. The 512MB makes all the difference on the speed of running processes compared to T-Mobile’s G2. Price is TBA.

Folks in India are now able to buy the affordable Huawei Ideos Android 2.2 smartphone. The company has also showcased the Ideos at India Telecom 2010. As a reminder, the phone provides a 2.8-inch QVGA display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 3.2MP camera. The Huawei Ideos is priced at less than 8,000 INR (around $178) each.

Three brand new series of SD cards has been announced by Sony which gives more choices on where to store the picture data storage for all amateurs, pros and pro consumers alike. This morning JVC announced the launch of its three new Everio Camcorder GZ-HM690, GZ-HM670 and GZ-HM450.The GZ-HM670 comes with 3.3Megapixel and B.S.I (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS Sensor which give this camera a better result of video quality even in low light surrounding. The GZ-HM690 is the higher end quality of the series. Both Models comes with the support of SD, AVCHD and Full HD video recording at 24Mbps, SDHC and SDXC cards and 64GB of internal memory for the GZ-HM690 also 32GB of internal memory for the GZ-HM670. The GZ-HM450 comes with a regular 1.5Mpix CMOS sensor and only 8GB of internal memory. All three models will be sold within December in Japan and will around 100,000 Yen, 80,000 Yen and 45,000 Yen.

Microsoft Windows 8 New slate PC

HP WebOS Tablet Will be Launched in 2011

The timing is still being rumored and guessed around, but HP’s first webOS-based tablet has managed to found itself a launch window as assumption has been made by analysts rather than official word from the company. BMO Capital Markets analyst Keith Bachman after having met with Asian tech sources recently, believes the webOS tablet will be launched somewhere around March 2011. So far, the slate is on tracking for release somewhere in 2011, the only thing that HP Confirmed. Rumors has it that OEM Inventec will be producing the tablet for HP in Q1 next year. Even though it’s hard to see how it could worth more than the HP Slate 500, Bachman describes the tablet as a “niche market” for HP.
